Idea about AGOT dolls and their meet outfits

I know there has been much discussion about the AGOT dolls and not wanting to end up with multiples of their meet outfit if you buy more than one AGOT doll in a two year time span (which seems to be the length of time a particular meet outfit is available). I had this brainstorm this morning and wanted to see what eveyone thought about it and if it was worth mentioning to AG.

What if you could buy either an AGOT with the meet outfit and book or you could buy a nude AGOT? Or if they wanted to make sure they had some clothes when they arrived, they could come with underwear and some sort of gown (kinda like the hospital gowns)?

So I was thinking you could buy an AGOT with the meet outfit and book for $87, or buy a nude AGOT for $55, or buy an AGOT with hospital gown type outfit and underwear for $70? You'd have 3 different options when you purchase the AGOT.
(Does all that make sense? LOL!)

What does everyone think about this suggestion? Worth passing on to AG?

Or maybe they could let the club vote on a couple different ideas that they are considering using for the next meet outfit?

Nude sounds good to me, just since it would cut down on the cost of a brand new doll. Especially for those collectors who have a good sized wardrobe already!

I like the nude idea, but a gown seems about the same as a meet outfit. You would just end up with a ton of those!

Personally, since they accept returns on the meet outfits, it doesn't make a difference to me.

Well, I like the option of just being able to buy them nude (so I don't have to keep returning the duplicate meet outfits). I was just trying to think of some other options that might be appealing.

I really do like the idea of letting either the club or just buyers in general vote on the next meet outfit.

I think they should have several different outfits, all of them the same value, to choose from. Then you could choose your doll, choose her outfit, and maybe even choose her accessories. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
It'd save on the "man power" of having to exchange outfits!

If you ask me, the real way to do it is to have one standard meet outfit for dolls purchased by phone or internet, but at AGP, all the AGOTs should be nude, and you get to choose the outfit you want with your doll and dress her in it. I think it makes the AGP experience that much more special for a little girl.

Ok, what about this idea then - forget the gown idea and the options would be:

1. AGOT doll with meet outfit and book $87
2. AGOT doll with underwear/cami set $67
3. AGOT nude $57

(We all talk about wishing AG made an underwear set for the AGOT dolls - so option 2 would give us that)

I like the idea of being able to buy a nude doll and pick an outfit at AGP, but speaking as someone who is over 1000+ miles away from the nearest AGP - that seems a little unfair to all the buyers who will never make it to AGP.

I'm sure if you had a PS when you go to the store, then they would/could basically exchange the meet outfit for you at the time of purchase and that would be about the same as buying a nude doll and then picking your outfit.

I think thats a great idea about going to AGP and picking out your outfit when buying a new doll , but I also think a choice is a good idea... Like have AGT in undies and a t-shirt then you can choose a sports outfit, Dance outfit, ballerina outfit, Jeans type outfit , and maybe one with a pretty dress..Girls around 10 have developed into thier own likings when it comes to clothes so for them to be able to get an outfit that is similar to themselves would be a great idea...

Why not make the meet outfit something that would be logical to have in multiples such as a school uniform or sports outfit ( a team uniform with different numbers). A meet outfit could also be made in a variety of colors.
